Fishing Charters in Seychelles
A one-of-a-kind place for fantastic fish! The Seychelles Islands are an archipelago of 115 islands spanning 400,000 square kilometres. Almost half of Seychelles' area comprises natural reserves, allowing for fantastic fishing.
What makes Seychelles different for your next boat fishing charter?
Because commercial fishing is strictly prohibited, numerous species have thrived quietly. As a result, fishing in Seychelles is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore uncharted territory. Whether you prefer jigging, popper fishing, or trolling, our packages will provide you with plenty of opportunities. Trevally, dog tooth tuna, giant kingfish, groupers, yellowfin tuna, sailfish, and marlins are among the species that can be caught in Seychelles.
Option 1
WEEKLY CHARTER
A week of popping, trolling and jigging on the Saba 50
Learn about your trip to the Amirantes, Bird Island, Denise Island, and Coetivy Islands. Possibly the best fishing location on the planet! The Amirantes Islands are a series of coral islands and atolls in Seychelles' outer islands. An untamed paradise.
-
Transfer from the airport to Eden Island, Mahé, the catamaran's home port, and departs to the predetermined fishing zone. Depending on your destination, you may have to cross at night.
-
Depending on the weather and how you want to fish, you might be able to troll during the trip and get to your destination around noon. Our fishing spots have clear waters, beaches with white sand, and an abundance of fish. We anchor the catamaran in regions suited to night fishing too.
-
The largest specimens can be seen near the coral reef. Species you can catch on our excursions include dogtooth tuna, wahoo, sailfish, marlin, emperor red snapper, humphead snapper, yellow jobfish, deep-water long red snapper, blue and yellow grouper, brown spotted grouper, blueline large-eyed bream, yellowfin tuna, trevally group, green jobfish, dorado, and amberjacks—followed by a fishing session after dinner.
-
You can practice many fishing techniques in Seychelles. Depending on the fishing area, we will mix all those techniques to optimise your fishing experience.
-
Spinning in open water can give you surprising results. A quick trolling session can be a best seller for catching billfish, depending on the activity and the current. Then, after dinner, a fishing session.
-
Based on the results of the last session, we break the routine and try to pop or jig in deeper areas. Popping in deeper spots will help to raise bigger giant trevally. Jigging in deeper areas will also allow you to look for large dogtooth and amberjacks.
-
The last session on your fishing expedition is at dawn. Return to Mahé at noon, depending on the weather and trolling on the way back. Night crossing depends on the catamaran's location.
-
Arrival in Mahé at noon. Fly back in the day, depending on your flight time.

DAILY FISHING TRIPS
Option 2
A day on Ton Ledan
Whether you're a first-time fisherman or an experienced angler, our destinations have the best spots to satisfy your fishy cravings. So toss out your line and catch the colourful bounty of the Indian Ocean in a must-try fishing experience in Seychelles. Fishing licences are not required for recreational fishing in Seychelles, and travellers can fish in most areas outside Seychelles' vast marine parks.
Deep-sea fishing is by far the more popular pursuit, from weathered game-fish hunters to first-time fishermen and beginners who could benefit from the guidance of an experienced guide. A fishing trip in Seychelles is sure to be a highlight in your angling career.
If landing a big catch is not your primary objective, but you would still like to spend a day at sea, consider combining a fishing trip with a full-day charter that includes a morning spent fishing, followed by a BBQ lunch and an afternoon of snorkelling.
